Conceptually, an underground water surface is exposed on the slightly sloping forecourt of one of the entrances to the G3 Shopping Resort Gerasdorf. Two lowered pools seem to form a single entity, simulated by their identical water levels and shadow gaps around the edge. The synchronized lighting increases the unitary effect in the dark. In addition, four “floating rocks" secure the 40 m2 water feature and can be used as seats. Materials used are black EPDM rubber, stainless steel and Gebhartser syenite.
